24-hr sub-index for each pollutant. The PSI is the highest of these.
How to read these numbers
24-hr PSI is NEA's official index, averaged over the past 24 hours. It's the reading health advisories, school and work decisions are based on.
1-hr PM2.5 shows what the air is like right now: the concentration of fine particles over the past hour, in µg/m³, with NEA's band from I (Normal) to IV (Very high). It swings more from hour to hour, so use it for immediate plans such as a run or a walk.
| 0–55 | Band I · Normal |
| 56–150 | Band II · Elevated |
| 151–250 | Band III · High |
| 251 and above | Band IV · Very high |
24-hr PSI bands:
| 0–50 | Good |
| 51–100 | Moderate |
| 101–200 | Unhealthy |
| 201–300 | Very unhealthy |
| Above 300 | Hazardous |
All readings come from NEA's haze.gov.sg, the official source for haze forecasts and advisories.
